It’s our last senior highlight of the season! Today we are highlighting Ryan Leland. Ryan plays on 18 Elite and will be graduating from Edmond North High School. Next year, she is committed to play at Oklahoma City University. Go Stars! Take a look at some of her achievements from the last four years.
Ryan’s Career Awards and Honors: Varsity Team Captain, Choctaw All-Tournament Team, COAC Honorable Mention, AVCA Best and Brightest 2nd Team, Impact Player of the Year for NNVB, 600+ assists in a single season, and JV MVP.
Ryan’s parents say “[she] has had to overcome several challenging injuries in the last two years and did so with grace, grit and courage. Watching her play through the pain in order to pursue her dream of playing volleyball with the best of the best athletes at Peak Performance and receiving an offer to play volleyball at OCU has been truly incredible. We are beyond proud of the woman she has become, the adventures ahead of her and the people she will impact along the way.”
Ryan is involved in several school clubs including National Honor Society, KEY Club, and Project Linus. While at OCU, she plans to earn her degree in Nursing.
