Senior Highlight: Rachel Megna

It’s our first highlight of the season! We start off this series with Oklahoma Christian School senior Rachel Megna. Rachel is committed to play at The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Go Golden Hurricanes!

Rachel’s Career Awards and Honors:

(Senior) All-State Large West, Lincoln Christian Tourney All-Tournament Team, Bishop McGuinness Tourney All-Tournament Team, GMAC Conference All-Tournament Team;, 5A State Tourney All-Tournament Team. (Junior) USAV GJNC All-Tournament Team, USAV GJNC National Champion, GMAC Conference 1st Team All-Conference, Lincoln Christian Tourney All-Tournament Team, Choctaw Tourney All-Tournament Team, 5A State All-Tournament Team. (Sophomore) GMAC Conference 2nd Team. (Freshman) Oklahoma Peak Performance Award co-winner.

A National Merit Scholar and FCA member, Rachel was on Honor Roll for 4 years, earned the ACSI Distinguished Christian High School Student Award, and the National Merit Rural & Small Town Recognition Award.

Rachel’s parents say “Rachel is a hardworking young woman whose dedication shows in everything she does. She leads by example – showing others what determination, focus, and integrity looks like in action. Her strong Christian faith guides her character and decisions, shaping her into someone who strives to do the right thing and uplift those around her. She has a playful spirit and brings laughter and fun to those on the volleyball court or off.”

Rachel plans to earn her degree in Electrical Engineering and hopes to have a career that allows her to travel after graduation.
