Senior Highlight: Georgia Ahlert

Last senior highlight of the season! We wrap up our series with Mount St. Mary’s senior Georgia Ahlert. Georgia is committed to play at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Go Hofstra Pride!

Gerogia’s Career Awards and Honors:

(Senior) 3x 5A State Champion, 3x All Tournament Team (2025 USAV 18s Nationals, 2024 Volleypalooza 6A HS TX, Broken Arrow 6A HS), MSM Co-MVP and Best Blocker, #1 in Oklahoma for Hit % (.403) and Total Blocks 108, All-Conference 1st Team, OCA Large West All State Team, MaxPreps U.S. All Season 3rd Team, 3x MaxPreps Player of the Match, AVCA Best & Brightest 1st Team for Athletic Performance, PrepVolleyball Great Plains All-Region Team, Captain in Volleyball and Soccer, Most Versatile in Soccer . (Junior) 2024 AAU 17s Nationals All-Tournament Team, Defensive POY for Basketball, Best Blocker, Conference Honorable Mention in both Volleyball & Basketball. (Sophomore) 2x 5A State Champion, MSM Rocket Award in Volleyball, Defensive POY for Basketball. (Freshman) State Champion, MSM Rocket Award in Volleyball, Defensive POY for Basketball.
In addition to volleyball, Georgia was on Honor Roll for 4 years, elected to Mu Alpha Theta (Math), an AP Scholar with Honor and with Distinction, an English Award winner.

Georgia’s parents say “[she] is a strong competitor – accountable, consistent, and resilient. She will focus and put in the work to achieve goals set individually or for the team. We are excited to see her follow her dreams at the next level.”

After pursuing a degree in biochemistry, Georgia plans to pursue medical school and become a pediatrician.
