Senior Highlight: Carly Gregory

Next in our senior highlight series is 18 Elite athlete Carly Gregory. Carly is a senior at Choctaw High School and is committed to play at the Oklahoma Baptist University next year. Go Bison! Take a look at some of her achievements from the last four years.

 Carly’s Career Awards and Honors:

(Senior) Choctaw All Tournament Team, Big 7 Conference Offensive Player of the Year, First Team Big 7, Choctaw HS Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year. (Junior) First Team Big 7, Oklahoman All City Volleyball Team-Honorable Mention, CHS Volleyball Offensive Player of the Year; 2022 Girl’s Powerlifting State Runner-Up Champion; 2023 Girl’s Powerlifting Top 5 State Placer. (Sophomore) Bishop McGuinness All- Tournament Team, All-Conference Player, CHS Volleyball MVP, Vype Volleyball Player of the Week. (Freshman) CHS Volleyball Offensive Player of the Year, State Qualifier Track 4×4 .

Jordyn’s parents say “we are so incredibly proud of Carly and her dedication she brings to both her volleyball game and her attitude on and off the court. She consistently pushes herself to improve as an athlete and teammate. She approaches every challenge with determination and a positive attitude. Her sportsmanship is unwavering as she always shows respect to her opponents, coaches and teammates, and embodying the true spirit of the game. We are so proud of you Carly and can’t wait to watch what your future holds!”

Along side volleyball, Carly was a multi-sport athlete and active member in several clubs including Choctaw Varsity Track and Field, Girl’s Powerlifting, STUCO, National Honor Society, CHS Biomed Program, and was named Ms.September for Nicoma Park-Choctaw Business Women’s Club. While at OBU, she plans to study Exercise Science with a Pre-Allied Health Emphasis to eventually become a registered dietician.
