Randy Decker
Bio
Randy has over 35 years of volleyball experience as a player, coach, college official, and club director/owner. In addition, he is a career educator with 32 years of experience as an elementary teacher, high school volleyball coach, elementary assistant principal and principal, and currently a central office administrator in Edmond.
It was his head coaching days at Edmond Memorial HS that opened the door to participating in many areas of volleyball such as coaching club ball and officiating college for over 20 years. In 2005, he was part of the original group who established OP2. He’s coached teams from 11’s – 18’s and began the boys’ team program in 2014. Randy functions as the club’s director. He also began BYOP-Edmond (Bring Your Own Parent) in 2018 which provides instruction for 5-10 year old players and their parents.
Randy has been married to his wife, Anne, for 34 years and they have five children; Kate and Brynden Pitzer, Sarah and Justin Ferguson, and Will. They have four grandchildren (Ruth, Jane, Heidi, and Tate).
