Jaclyn Burroughs
Bio
Jaclyn has been coaching volleyball for fifteen years. She began coaching high school ball in Texas, where she led her team to the most successful season in school history at that time. She moved to Edmond, where she coached high school ball for seven years and was a part of two state championships. During her time coaching at Edmond North, she was awarded COAC coach of the year, district 8 coach of the year, all Oklahoman coach of the year, and was offered the opportunity to coach the all state team. Jaclyn has coached at Oklahoma Peak for nine seasons. She has coached 14s, 15s, and 16s, and has qualified for USAV nationals seven times. Most recently, she has been coaching the 14-1s and has had a lot of success, qualifying in the open division of USAV twice and qualifying in the USA division of USAV three times. She has coached three Gatorade players of the year and many players who have gone on to have volleyball success at the collegiate level. Most importantly, Jaclyn’s main focus is developing her players as people, teaching character traits and life lessons through the sport of volleyball. Whenever Jaclyn is not coaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids, going to the lake, and playing tennis and mahjong.
