Heather Erickson
Bio
Heather is a distinguished international player and a current member of the USA Volleyball National Women’s Sitting Team. Heather has played for the Women’s Sitting team for 18 years and has earned two silver medals (London, Beijing), a gold medal in Rio and a second gold medal in Tokyo with the USA Women’s National Sitting Team. She recently was named to the Paris 2024 team competing at this summers Paralympic Games. She is largely regarded as the best player in women’s sitting volleyball, having earned the Most Outstanding Player as well as Best Receiver at the Rio Paralympics.
A 13 year coach for Peak, Heather has coached 12-3’s, 11-1’s, 13-2’s and will now be catching 16-2. Along with head coaching, she has also been the assistant coach for 14-1’s for 3 years. Heather has conducted many camps for Peak’s younger players and provides individual and group lessons for several age groups.
She has coached high school for the OKC Storm, Deer Creek High School as well as Edmond North High school serving in multiple roles as Freshman head coach as well as Varsity assistant.
