Bio

Coach Goodner spent 8 years as a college volleyball coach. Her most proud moments coaching college volleyball are leading her alma mater, Ouachita Baptist University, to their 1st conference championship in 2016 and having the opportunity to work for Edgar Miraku at the University of Central Oklahoma. She is still a huge fan of the UCO Volleyball program!

She started at Peak as the head coach of 16-3’s, spent 2 years assisting Greg Dewey with the 18-1’s, and is starting her 4th year at the head coach for the 13-1’s. Coach Goodner focuses on the development of the overall player, focusing on the intangibles and having a growth mindset. Her proudest moment coaching club is leading her 2023 13-1’s to Oklahoma Peaks 1st USAV National Championship in the USA division! She will forever be proud of that team for playing selflessly for each other and for the hard work they put in to earn that title.

As a high school coach, she was the head coach at Norman North for two years before coming to Edmond North last year! Coach Goodner is in her second season at ENHS, 1st season as program lead. She teaches Special Education at North in their moderate behavior classroom. Fun Facts: she got married this summer to Logan Goodner, has two husky dogs, loves to read, and enjoys playing Pokemon Go in her spare time.
